Life's more than what's on the outside

Life's more than all the moments that you waste your time

Life's more than what the people make it out to be

A meaningless communion of my mind and what's confusing me

If all these people don't get by me now

Will I end up better in the end somehow

If we're all created equal in the eyes of humanity

Oh, the humanity, that you and I were born to see

I guess we've all got our limits on how much Love that we care to be

It's easy not to care and just move on

And I know the world's got its problems

And we'll probably never solve them

But you could be the one to make someone smile

If you understood you'd know that that's worthwhile

I hope to raise some kids in this world someday

Be proud to say I played a part in making their world big and safe

If I'm honest, looking out

The world is so small and I don't know how

We can hate someone for the colour of their skin

I know we've all been living with our sins
