Zschorlauer Nachtigallen, a music group from Zschorlau, Erzgebirge, began their
musical journey in 1921 when three young girls performed at a school event under
the direction of teacher Albert Hänig. The group initially performed as the
"Albert-Hänig-Gruppe" before adopting the name Zschorlauer Nachtigallen in 1932,
inspired by a comparison of their singing to the sound of a nightingale. Their
