Yūjirō Ishihara was an important figure in post-war Japanese cinema and music.
He was born on December 28, 1934, in Kobe, Japan. Yūjirō Ishihara's ascent in
the entertainment industry began with his debut in the 1956 film Season of the
Sun (1956), a movie based on a novel by his brother Shintaro Ishihara. This
debut marked the beginning of a successful dual career as both an actor and a
