YU Grupa, a Serbian and former Yugoslav rock band, was formed in 1970. The group
initially consisted of brothers Dragi Jelić and Žika Jelić, along with Miodrag
Okrugić and Velibor Bogdanović. Their first single "Nona" was released in 1971,
marking one of the earliest instances of combining rock music with traditional
Balkan folk elements in Yugoslavia. The band's debut album YU Grupa followed in
1973, featuring hits like "Trka" and "Crni leptir". In 1974, they released their
second studio album Kako To Da Svaki Dan?, showcasing a more diverse musical
style.
