Yasha Conen, also known as Yasha, was born in 1981 in Berlin, Germany, and is a German rapper, singer, and songwriter who emerged from the Moabit neighbourhood. After forming the hip‑hop quartet Moabeat with his brother David and two peers, the group disbanded in 2004, prompting Yasha to pursue a solo career while his brother joined DJ Illvibe in the production duo The Krauts.
