Xabier Lete Bergaretxe, born on April 5, 1944, in Oiartzun, Gipuzkoa, Spain, was
a Basque singer, poet, writer, and politician. He started his musical career in
1965 with the band Ez Dok Amairu, which included Mikel Laboa, Benito Lertxundi,
Joxean Artze, Jose Angel Irigarai, and Lourdes Iriondo. The group disbanded in
1972, but Lete continued collaborating with Lourdes Iriondo, who later became
his wife. His debut album "Kantatzera noazu" was released in 1976. Throughout
