(Wu Bai & China Blue)
Wu Bai & China Blue was formed in 1992 in Taiwan by lead vocalist and guitarist
Wu Junlin (stage name Wu Bai), bassist Xiao Zhu, keyboardist Da Mao, and drummer
Dino Zavolta. Wu Bai had already issued his solo album 愛上別人是快樂的事 in 1992, but
the group’s first album under the collective name was 浪人情歌 in 1994, establishing
a new wave of live rock performances across Taiwan’s pub circuit, from 息壤 and
The Gate to larger venues. The band released a steady stream of albums over the
next decades, including 白鴿 (1999), 太空彈 (2008), and the live record 伍佰的Live
