World’s End Girlfriend is a post-rock project by Japanese musician Katsuhiko
Maeda, born on November 1, 1975, in Gotō, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. He
released his first album Ending Story in 2000 and his second album Farewell
Kingdom in 2001. Maeda toured extensively, including performances at the Sónar
Festival in Barcelona and collaborations with bands like MONO on albums such as
Palmless Prayer / Mass Murder Refrain (2005). Notable releases include Seven
Idiots (2010) and Last Waltz (2016).
