Włodek Pawlik – born Włodzimierz Pawlik in Kielce, Poland on October 4, 1958 –
is an acclaimed jazz pianist and composer. He was the first Polish jazz musician
to receive a Grammy Award (January 2014). Before his began his professional
career, he graduated from the F. Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland,
and also studied in Hamburg, Germany at the Hochschule für Musik. Recording
under his full name - Włodzimierz Pawlik – and as Włodek Pawlik, he has released
