Wizard
Wizard, a German heavy metal band, was founded in 1989 by drummer Sören "Snoppi"
van Heek. The band originated from Bocholt and initially played thrash metal
before transitioning to classic heavy metal with speed metal elements. Their
first demo, Legion of Doom, was released in 1991, followed by their debut album,
Son of Darkness, in 1995. In 1998, Wizard signed with B.O. Records and released
Bound by Metal, which was released in 1999 and marked a significant breakthrough
