Werner Müller
Werner Müller, born on August 2, 1920, in Berlin, Germany, was a conductor and
composer. Initially learning piano and violin under his father before entering
the military music school in Bückeburg to study trombone, Müller began his
career by arranging for Kurt Widmann's orchestra in Berlin from 1946 to 1948. In
1949, he took over the newly formed dance orchestra of RIAS Berlin, where he
developed a signature sound blending swing with string arrangements. Notable
