Wallace Richardson (performing as Wally Richardson; born June 4, 1930) is an
American jazz and rhythm-and-blues guitarist from Harlem, New York City.
Richardson began a career in the early 1950s within the New York R&B scene,
recording first for the label Savoy with Andrew Tibbs. In 1959, Richardson
released the single “Rock A Doodle Reveille/It's Paris” as part of the duo Le
Roy and Wally. In 1968, Richardson released the debut solo album Soul Guru
through Prestige Records. This recording included an instrumental cover of the
song “Monday Monday” and the single release “Senor Bo...
