Vivid was a German rock band formed in Salzgitter in 1991. The band's name
originated from the title of an album by Living Colour, reflecting the initial
influence of that group on its members. Vivid had their first performance at a
local city festival in Salzgitter and released their debut EP Individual in
1992. In 1994, they recorded a mix-CD and later collaborated with Jens Krause,
who produced Fury in the Slaughterhouse, to create a demo tape that incorporated
electronic elements into their grunge sound. This led to a record deal with
