Visceral was an Argentine thrash metal band formed in 1998 by Antonio "El Tano"
Romano on guitar, Carlos Kuadrado on bass, and Willy Caballero on drums and
vocals. The group formed after the notable heavy metal band Malón separated in
1998 due to Claudio O'Connor's departure to start a solo career. The remaining
members initially reunited with Caballero to revive their 1980s band, Cerbero,
but changed the name to Visceral. Their debut album, Visceral, was released in
1998, followed by their second and final album, Arrancado del sistema, in 2001.
