Born in 1980 in Annecy, Jean-Christophe Dorado, aka Vanupié, grew up in Essonne
and discovered music thanks to his father. After starting his career in
advertising, he turned to music at the age of 25. In 2006, he played in the
Paris metro, which launched his fame. He went on to play at festivals and open
for some of the biggest names in reggae. In 2013, he signed the soundtrack to
the film Mon âme par toi guérie. In 2018, he releases Gold, founds his own label
