Born in Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis) on July 15, 1992, under the name
Valentin Le Du, Vald began rapping at the age of 17. It was his music video for
the song "Autiste" that made him a household name in 2014. The rapper is also
the author of two mixtapes and then a first EP, released in 2014 under the title
NQNT (acronym for "ni queue ni tête"), which ranked 66th in the charts. A year
later, while his reputation was built around black humor, provocation and
