Christine Clements, known professionally as Vaccine, born on December 26, 1979,
in Del Mar, California, was an American electronic musician and dubstep record
producer. She was one of the first women signed to a dubstep-related record
label, Hotflush Recordings. Her musical style was characterized by ethereal,
subtle melodies, echoed vocals, and jittery electronic elements with gothic
ambient nuances. She began her recording career with the single “Wishful
Thinking” / “Signal to Noise” (2007), followed by “Anaesthetic” / “Destroy”
(2007) and “Breathless” / “Side Effects” (2007). ...
