Uxia
Uxía Domínguez Senlle, known professionally as Uxía, was born on November 19,
1962 in Sanguiñeda, Mos, Spain. She is a Galician folk singer who began her
musical journey at a young age. Uxía's career took off when she won first prize
at the Festival de Bergantiños in 1985. Her debut album, Foliada de Marzo, was
released in 1986, showcasing her traditional Galician roots. In 1987, she joined
the folk group Na Lúa. Uxía's solo career continued with Entre Cidades in 1991.
