Unicorn
Unicorn was an English country rock band from Send, Surrey, England, formed by
musicians Ken Baker, Pat Martin, Trevor Mee, and Pete Perryer. Although the
members played together since 1963 under various names, including The Late, they
officially adopted the name Unicorn for their debut album Uphill All the Way
(1971) on Transatlantic Records, which also yielded the single “P.F. Sloan”
(1971). Guitarist Kevin Smith joined the lineup in 1972, replacing Mee.
