Unholy
Unholy, a Finnish black doom band, was formed in 1988 in Imatra under the name
Holy Hell by guitarist Jarkko Toivonen and singer/bassist Pasi Äijö. The band
released their first demo, Kill Jesus, before renaming themselves to Unholy and
releasing subsequent demos, including The Procession of Black Doom (1990) and
Trip to Depressive Autumn (1992). Their debut album, From the Shadows, was
released in 1993 under Lethal Records. After signing with Avantgarde Music, they
