Ümit Sayın, born on April 26, 1970, in İzmir, Turkey, is a Turkish singer and
songwriter. He began his music career as a vocalist for Sezen Aksu before
settling in Istanbul and receiving classical guitar training from Timur Selçuk.
He later worked for two years in the studio of MFÖ member Fuat Güner and began
composing songs in 1991 while continuing studio vocal work and recording
advertising music. He wrote the lyrics and music for Deniz Arcak's songs "Zehir
