Ulla Pia Nielsen, born on February 17, 1945, in Copenhagen, Denmark, was a
Danish singer who began her career performing with local groups and orchestras.
In the mid-1960s, she collaborated with jazz musician Finn Ziegler. Her
breakthrough came in 1966 when she won the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with "Stop -
mens legen er go'" and represented Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Despite finishing at number 14 out of 18 contestants, her performance was
