Tommy Schneller, born on September 18, 1969, in Ankum near Osnabrück, Germany,
is a saxophonist and singer associated with the blues and rhythm-and-blues
scene. He received early musical training at the Osnabrücker Conservatory
starting at age five, later switching from violin to saxophone under the
influence of swing music. In 1989, Schneller joined Christian Bleiming's Boogie
Boys. He moved to Cologne in the 1990s and worked as a booking agent for Lynro
