Thomas Rexton Brumley, also known as Tom Brumley, was born in Stella, Missouri, on December 11, 1935, and was an American pedal steel guitarist and steel guitar manufacturer. After learning the instrument in his teens and serving in the Army, he joined Buck Owens and the Buckaroos in 1963, contributing to hits such as "Cryin' Time" and "Together Again", where his solo received critical acclaim.
