Toki Wright
Toki Wright, born March 27, 1980, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a rapper and
music educator. He first appeared in the hip-hop scene in the late 1990s,
forming the duo The C.O.R.E. with Adonis D. Frazier; their debut album
Metropolis (2003) marked his entry into the industry. In 2009, Wright released
his solo debut A Different Mirror on Rhymesayers Entertainment, featuring the
title track “A Different Mirror”, which reflected on multicultural history.
