Born in Oakland, California on October 30, 1947, Timothy B Schmit is a bass
player and singer-songwriter best known as a member of the Eagles. He grew up in
Sacramento, California and played in several bands including a folk duo and a
surf band who scored several local hits. The band changed its name to Glad and
moved towards a harmony-laden sunshine pop sound and released the album Feelin’
