Theodor Bastard
Theodor Bastard is a Russian world music and neofolk band from St. Petersburg,
founded in 1995 by Alexander Starostin, known as Fedor Svolotch. Initially a
solo project, the band evolved into a group. In 2004, they released their album
Pustota, exploring themes of emptiness through a Buddhist lens. The band's sound
incorporates elements of dark wave, trip hop and ambient, featuring Yana Veva’s
vocals in various languages. The group's discography includes the studio albums
