The Washboard Union
The Washboard Union is a Juno Award-winning country band from Canada, where
songs like "Shot of Glory," "Maybe It's the Moonshine," "Country Thunder," "Dock
Rock," and "Shine" have all become Top 10 hits on the Canada Country chart. The
group formed in 2010 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Bandmates David John
Roberts, Aaron Grain, and Chris Duncombe first performed together under the name
"Run GMC" before rebranding themselves with their self-titled debut album, The
Washboard Union, in 2012. The group then signed with Warner Music Canada and
returned in 2015 with an EP, In My Bon...
