The Team, an American hip‑hop group formed in Oakland, California, emerged from
the Bay Area’s hyphy scene in the early 2000s. The core lineup of four
emcees-Clyde Carson, Mayne Mannish, Kaz Kyzah, and affiliated member
Jungle-scored a breakthrough with the 2004 single "It’s Gettin’ Hot", which
