The Shirts
The Shirts are an American rock and power pop band from Brooklyn formed in 1975.
The founding members, including lead singer Annie Golden and bassist Robert
Racioppo, performed regularly at the music club CBGB in New York City. Inspired
by the work of Patti Smith, they began focusing on original material and signed
with EMI's Harvest label in 1977. They released their debut studio album, The
Shirts (1978), which featured the track “Tell Me Your Plans” (1978). The single
