Hailing from Denmark, The Raveonettes craft a polished alternative rock that
borrows as much from 1960s pop as from 1990s American indie rock. Led by the
charismatic singer Sharin Foo and the tenebrous Sune Rose Wagner (guitar,
vocals), The Raveonettes released their breakthrough album Chain Gang of Love in
2003. The band returned in 2005 with Pretty in Black, then at the end of 2007
