The Pursuit of Happiness was formed in 1985 by frontman Moe Berg, who relocated
to Ontario to pursue a rock career. The group’s breakthrough came with the 1986
single "I'm an Adult Now", whose low-budget video gained rotation on MuchMusic
and propelled the track into Canadian Top 40 territory. In 1988 the band signed
with Chrysalis Records, releasing the debut album Love Junk, produced by Todd
Rundgren; the re-issued "I'm an Adult Now" peaked at number 6 on Billboard’s
