The Mighty Underdogs
The Mighty Underdogs is a hip-hop "supergroup". The project was born in 2007,
under the impetus of a trio formed by two illustrious MCs, Gift of Gab and
Lateef the Truth Speaker, and a producer, also working as bassist for hip-hop
group Crown City Rockers. Their debut album , Droppin' Science Fiction, released
in 2008, also featured a number of guests on a voyage between genres, against a
backdrop of battles between these rhyming monsters, as evidenced by the track
"Gunfight".
