The Kickdrums
The Kickdrums began as a production duo consisting of Alexander Fitts and Matt
Penttila from Cleveland, Ohio. They started working with local hip-hop acts
before gaining attention from major rappers seeking a blend of hip-hop and indie
rock styles. The duo produced tracks for artists such as 50 Cent, John Legend,
and Kid Cudi. In 2011, the released the album Meet Your Ghosts with Last Gang
Records. After Penttila's departure from the group, Fitts continued as a solo
