The Hassles were an American psychedelic rock ensemble from Long Island, New
York, active between 1964 and 1969. The group was established by Richard
McKenna, Jon Small, John Dizek, and Harry Weber. In 1966, the musicians Billy
Joel and Howie Arthur Blauvelt joined the ensemble. Their recording career began
with the debut studio recording The Hassles (1967) released through United
Artists Records. The recording featured the track "You've Got Me Hummin'"
