The Happenings
The Happenings, a pop music group from Paterson, New Jersey, formed in 1961.
Initially known as "The Four Graduates," the original lineup consisted of Bob
Miranda, David Libert, Tom Giuliano, and Ralph DiVito. The band's breakthrough
came with their unique cover style, which involved rich vocal harmonies and
upbeat tempos marked by prominent percussion. Their first major hit was "See You
in 2" (1966), a cover of the Tempos' 1959 song, which peaked at number three on
the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed on the charts for 14 weeks. The group followed
