The Fretless

The Fretless is a Canadian folk music group based in Toronto, Ontario, consisting of violinists Trent Freeman, Karrnnel Sawitsky, Ben Plotnick, and cellist Eric Wright. The group released their debut album Waterbound in 2012, winning the Canadian Folk Music Awards for Instrumental Group of the Year and Ensemble of the Year. Their self-titled second album, released in 2014, also earned them the CFMA for Ensemble of the Year.
