The Duhks are a Canadian folk fusion band from Winnipeg that formed in 2002. The
founding members included Leonard Podolak on banjo, Jessee Havey on lead vocals,
Tania Elizabeth on fiddle, and Jordan McConnell on guitar. Their music is a
blend of traditional folk styles with soul, gospel, and zydeco. Their debut
studio album, Your Daughters & Your Sons, (2003) received a Juno Award
nomination. They followed this with the eponymous album The Duhks in 2005,
produced by Béla Fleck, which won the Juno Award for Best Roots & Traditional
