The Distillers
The Distillers are a Californian punk rock band led by Australian-born singer
and guitarist Brody Dalle. Author of an appropriately cheeky debut album of the
same name, the band specializes in a punk-rock mix with some grunge
reminiscences, which have earned them comparisons, justified, with the early
career of the band Hole. The Distillers released the album Sing Sing Death House
in 2002, followed by Coral Fang in 2003, before announcing their official split
in 2005.
