The Dip is an American rhythm and blues and funk ensemble from Seattle,
Washington established in 2013. The group was formed by University of Washington
music students Tom Eddy, Jarred Katz, and Mark Hunter, who were joined by jazz
students Brennan Carter, Levi Gillis, and Evan Smith. Their recording career
began with the debut studio recording The Dip (2015) followed by the
instrumental extended play Won't Be Coming Back (2016). The ensemble released
