The Dayton Family, an American hip hop group from Flint, Michigan, was formed in
1993 by Ira "Bootleg" Dorsey and Raheen "Shoestring" Peterson. Named after a
notorious local street, they released their debut album, What's On My Mind?, in
1995 under Po' Broke Records. The group faced legal issues and lineup changes,
