The Castaways, an American garage rock band from the Twin Cities in Minnesota,
United States, were formed in 1963. The original lineup included Jim Donna on
keyboards, Robert Folschow and Roy Hensley on guitars, Dick Roby on bass guitar
and vocals, and Dennis Craswell on drums. Their breakthrough came with the
release of "Liar, Liar", a single written by Donna and Craswell, which reached
number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1965. The song was produced by
