The Black Family, a Celtic music ensemble from Ireland, was formed in Dublin in
the 1970s. The group consists of siblings Mary Black, Frances Black, Shay Black,
Michael Black, and Martin Black. Their father, a fiddle player from Rathlin
Island, and their mother, a music hall singer, fostered an early musical
environment for the children. The Black Family released their self-titled debut
