Gospel and jazz a cappella sextet Take 6 – originally known as The Gentlemen’s Estates Quartet - formed in Huntsville, Alabama in 1980. The group, whose vocalists also reproduce the sounds of percussion and double bass - has been nominated for over 20 Grammy Awards, winning a total of eight. They’ve also won numerous GMA Dove Awards.
