(Takahisa Masuda)
Takahisa Masuda, born 4 July 1986 in Tokyo, was a Japanese singer and actor who
began his career in the Johnny's Entertainment trainee system in November 1998.
He appeared as a junior back‑dancer for senior acts and later secured a small
role in the 2001 drama 3‑nen B‑gumi Kinpachi Sensei. Masuda entered the music
scene in 2003 as a founding member of the J‑pop group NEWS, contributing to
their debut releases and the promotion of the 2003 Women’s World Cup of
Volleyball. In 2006 he formed the duo Tegomass with Yuya Tegoshi, issuing the
