From secretary to singer for the Tamla Motown label, Syreeta Wright (née Rita Wright, 1946-2004) recorded her first single "I Can't Give Back The Love I Feel for You" in 1967, then met Stevie Wonder, whom she married in 1970. Their union lasted only a year and a half, but their musical collaboration continued on each other's albums. She wrote him "Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)" (1970) and "If You Really Love Me" (1971), and he produced her first album Syreeta (1972), which included the duet "To Know You Is To Love You".
