Synestia
Synestia, an American deathcore group, was formed in 2020 from the collaboration
of vocalist Ville Hokkanen of Espoo and guitarist Sam Melchior of Minneapolis.
The band debuted with the EP Ashes in 2021, featuring the single "Oblivion". In
2022, Synestia released the studio album Maleficium. Their 2024 EP The Poetic
Edda included a collaboration with Disembodied Tyrant and a Vivaldi reimagining
on the track "Winter".
