SUITE CHIC was a Japanese music project bringing together singer Namie Amuro
with prominent hip-hop and R&B artists and producers. The project began after
m-flo's VERBAL and producer Ryosuke Imai created a demo imagining Amuro
performing a song in a hip-hop/R&B style. Amuro responded positively, and the
collaboration expanded into a separate project from her solo career. SUITE CHIC
released its original album WHEN POP HITS THE FAN in 2003. The album reached
