Mitar Subotić, born June 23, 1961 in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia, was a Serbian
musician, composer, and record producer who also worked under the pseudonyms Rex
Ilusivii and Suba. After obtaining a university degree in composition and
orchestration from the University of Novi Sad and studying electronic music in
Belgrade, Subotić began recording experimental and ambient tracks in the early
1980s, gaining early exposure when his recordings were broadcast on Radio Novi
Sad. In 1986, his fusion of electronic music and traditional lullabies, In The
Mooncage, was awarded a UNESCO scholarship...
