Frenchie Edwards, also known as Stoney Edwards, born on December 24, 1929, was
an American country singer. After moving to the San Francisco area, he began
performing music in his spare time. His breakthrough came in 1970 when attorney
Ray Sweeney discovered him at a benefit for Bob Wills, leading to a contract
with Capitol Records. Edwards released five albums under Capitol, including
She's My Rock, for which the title track peaked at number 20 in 1973. Other
